AUDITIONS

Where and how can I audition?

2008 Season recruitment begins in NYC on January 7-10, 2008 and will continue with local auditions and interviews in Boiling Springs some time later in January. This will include children's auditions for "Christmas" and "Joseph". Auditions will continue through February and March with trips to Memphis, TN for UPTA and Chattanooga for SETC. Individual appointments may also be arranged as needed. All those interested may apply as posted.

We will be looking for you at these auditions:

Winter NYC Auditions for 2009 Season, January 7-9 2008, Ripley Grier Studios, 520 8TH Avenue (between 36/37th, 16th floor) NYC

Winter UPTA, February 8-11, 2008 in Memphis, TN, at Playhouse on the Square

Spring SETC Convention, March 5-9, 2008 in Chattanooga, TN, at the Chattanooga Convention Center

Please submit a hard copy of cover letter, resume with dates of availability, and head shot. Please submit a CD or DVD, as well, if unable to attend.

INTERN COMPANY (Performer)

Description: Allenberry Playhouse is seeking its 2008 Intern Acting Company
2 men and 2 women will be selected to join the resident company for the entire season beginning as early as march 15th through december 30th 2008
Intern actors will be guaranteed three main stage roles and one children’s show that performs on Saturday’s throughout the season and work in other areas of interest around the theatre including, shop, maintenance, props, costumes, administration, front of house and stage management. Each intern will receive 150 dollars a week plus housing and food successful completion of contract comes with automatic full actor contract offer and $200 cash bonus. Later start dates are negotiable

Technical Intern ( Intern )
Description: Allenberry Playhouse seeks it 2008 Season Technical Intern Team.
This five person team will experience the technical aspects of 10 fully mounted productions at a 58 year old historic playhouse on a resort in central pa.
We are seeking a props/scenic painting person, a set construction/design person, a stage management person and a costume shop person and an administrative company management person.
All interns receive $150 per week plus housing, food and a $200 bonus for successfully completing the internship.

ACTORS

Description: Allenberry Playhouse producing its 58th season in central PA is holding auditions in NYC at Ripley Grier Studios 520 8th Avenue (Between 36th And 37th 16th Floor.) The auditions will take place over three days January 7/8/9 2008. We are looking for singing actors who can dance and tap for the following shows:
