The Still House
Built in 1775 by James Crockett, said to be an uncle of Davy Crockett,
this private historical limestone house is a treat to behold. It sits
right on the Yellow Breeches. You can fish directly from the porch,
if you want. Or, you can savor the comfort and joy of spending several
days in this quaint historical treasure. Read a book by the fireplace.
Fix yourself a snack. Take a nap. Sit on the porch and watch the creek.
Stay busy doing nothing.
