While not exclusively a summertime treat, Allenberry’s Summer Musical festival is a greatly anticipated event. By Hex was the first musical produced at Allenberry in 1957. By audience demand, Brigadoon, My Fair Lady, Oklahoma, Plain and Fancy, The Sound of Music, South Pacific and I Do! I Do! have each had three productions at Allenberry.

All the greats have been represented at Allenberry over the years: Cole Porter, Comden and Green, Frank Loesser, George Gershwin, Irving Berlin, Kander and Ebb, Lerner and Lowe, Stephen Sondheim, and thirteen productions of the great musicals of Rodgers and Hammerstein.
