Children's Show: Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
APTC's Children's Show is an original production penned by our own Roque Berlanga and performed by industry professionals for the youth of the South Central Pennsylvania region and surrounding areas. Set to open in May of 2010, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs will be gracing the Allenberry stage. The classic tale will be presented with a modern twist, making art accessible to both the young and the young at heart. We love to have families, school groups, church groups or any other organization you are a part of. Check back for more information on performance dates!

Winter 2011 - Jason Robert Brown's 13
Back for it's 3rd Winter, APTC's Winter Session is designed to be an intensive after-school workshop for students interested in mounting a professional level production. In 2011, we will be producing the recent Broadway smash hit 13! Students learn music, choreography and blocking in a format similar to a professional rehearsal process. Additionally, students work alongside professional technicians for a hands-on experience in all aspects of the creative project.
Rehearsals for 13 begin January 17, 2011, and will be held from 4:30pm – 8:30pm Monday through Thursday.
Performances dates are February 23-March 6, 2011.

Summer Sessions
APTC's summer session is what really started it all. From the success of our very first program, we have branched out into two separate summer conservatories. Both conservatories are lead by a talented group of professional actors, designers, technicians and administrators, giving students first-hand knowledge of what the industry is really like.
APTC participants will be housed in the scenic Pine Lodge, which has 10 restful rooms overlooking the Allenberry Playhouse. Your comfortable room will be the perfect place to review your choreography, learn your lines, practice your music or just get to know your fellow cast mates after a long day of rehearsal.

Participants will stay four to a room, sorted by gender and age. Two "house parents" will be in the building at all times to supervise APTC participants. If you have special lodging requests, we will do our best to accommodate you.
APTC participants will eat most of their meals at The Allenberry Buffet. Our Buffet has become the traditional first stop for Allenberry Playhouse lovers on their way to a show. "Something for everyone" has never tasted so good.
Special dietary requirements must be outlined at the time you sign up for the program. We will do our best to work with you in coming up with a safe, healthy meal plan.
Healthy snacks (fruit, granola bars, etc.) will be provided by APTC throughout the day. Participants will have the opportunity to purchase concessions in the evening during free time.
Summer Session #1 - Guys & Dolls, Jr.
For the first time, APTC is offering a two week residential summer camp to mount a full-scale production of the hit Broadway musical Guys & Dolls. This conservatory is designed to challenge our 13-17 year old thespians, and it is set to take place from June 13-25, 2010. The young artists will arrive, audition, learn their music, choreography and blocking, participate in the technical elements of the show's production and present a blockbuster smash for their friends, families and the public at large all within two weeks. This conservatory program is meant for the youth that have a serious dedication, passion and drive to perform, and the experience they will gain will be unforgettable.
Summer Session #2 - 2010 & At It Again!
APTC is again offering a one week residential summer camp for beginning and intermediate theatre students who love to sing, dance and perform. This conservatory is designed to educate and enrich our 10-17 year old thespians, and it is set to take place from July 25-30, 2010. The students will learn music and choreography from the professional productions their adult instructors are currently working on, and they will present an original piece of art at the end of their one-week course for all of their family and friends to enjoy.
Please let us know if you cannot download one or more forms, and we will send it to you in the mail. Additional forms will become available for download as the summer gets closer. To register, the only form you need to download and return is this enrollment form with your deposit.
